A fully loaded Black Gold Transport ore truck slid off the Richardson Highway and rolled into the ditch the morning of November 15, 2024, four miles south of Birch Lake (milepost 301).

No injuries were reported. The ore from both trailers was dumped. Traffic was held up for an hour while the truck was righted and pulled back on the road.

Black Gold Transport promises the ore will be recovered completely and processed as normal.
