It was a full house on February 6, 2023 at City Hall Chambers in North Pole, Alaska. ASAH delivered a presentation to North Pole City Council members outlining our concerns about the Kinross trucking plan. Several people gave pubic testimony, all in favor of Resolution 23-03, A Resolution from the North Pole City Council Expressing Opposition to the Ore Trucking Proposal for the Manh Choh Mine Project. When it was time to vote, it unanimously passed. The final, signed version of the resolution is available here. ASAH would like to give a very big THANK YOU to all of the Council members and everyone who came out and provided testimony.
