ASAH will review the Kinney report in detail and make a formal comment. We remain seriously concerned about the safety of the traveling public, including our school children waiting for and riding on school buses, very old bridges, lack of effective enforcement of existing regulations, overweight B trains, lack of weigh station openings, and lack of testing in subarctic conditions. The report did not include all the concerns the TAC committee had after it was abruptly dismissed and left hanging. The legislature must take up the issues raised in the report and those that were left out of it.
