On November 3, 2022, Citizens for Clean Air (CCA) met and after a presentation from Barbara Schumann of Advocates for Safe Alaska Highways, voted unanimously to join the effort to protect the Fairbanks North Star Borough Serious Air Quality non-attainment area from any additional air pollution that might be generated by the Kinross Tetlin to Ft Knox trucking plan. Citizens For Clean Air joins ASAH in clean air efforts
